I'm Nitya, a filmmaker based in Bangalore, India. My work spans different film formats, including advertisement films, feature-length fiction, short fiction, music videos, and short documentary. I use techniques of visual storytelling to weave together video, writing, memory, music, and digital media to celebrate the extraordinary aspects of everyday life in urban spaces.
As an artist, I aim for my work to remind the viewer that however small and insignificant our lives may seem, in the grand scale of things, it is full of beauty and wonder.
