Museum Of A Teenage Bedroom
In May 2022, to share the journey of my album Colour The Bigger Picture , I designed an event which I called "The Listening Room". When guests came in, they entered a museum of my teenage bedroom. I had recreated the space in which I had written most of the songs on the album. Walking through the space, reading old journals and notebooks, and flipping through music magazines, visitors to my personal museum could, if only briefly, situate themselves in my teenage state of mind

Film Moments: Aftersun
Scenes like these are sometimes hard to watch. There's a rawness, a realness, which makes it uncomfortable.

Film Moments: Sound Of Metal and Stillness
I love moments of stillness in films - when within a film we can viscerally experience those moments where we suddenly get pulled into the time and place the character is in.

Tenth Of June | A Poem
In January, I read my horoscope for the year It said that I’d meet my soulmate On June the 10th. I marked my calendar, Feeling reassured that the stars care About who’s falling in love, and where. Cuarón on Context
"...the context is as important as the plot... the background as important as the foreground ..." Cuarón is a master at world-building, and for him, presenting the word is as important as the characters or the plot. " You create a universe that the character only traverses ", he says while talking about Roma (2018). So then it makes sense that he utilises those looooong dolly shots - that's a very effective way to set context and background. Cuarón says that dolly shots that

The Sadness Monster
From " Letters To A Young Poet ", Rilke on sadness: "...only because so many people did not absorb their fates while they were inhabited by them, and did not make them a part of themselves, only because of this did they fail to recognise what emerged from them. It was so foreign to them that in their confused panic they assumed it must have entered into them, for they swore never to have found anything of the sort in themselves before.... We have no reason to be mistrustful
