Inspired by Austin Kleon's writing (and drawing) on blind contour self-portraits, here are my very own, all drawn during The Long Period Indoors, 2020.

From " Letters To A Young Poet ", Rilke on sadness: "...only because so many people did not absorb their fates while they were inhabited by them, and did not make them a part of themselves, only because of this did they fail to recognise what emerged from them.
