From Lessons With Kiarostami, a phrase called out to me:

And then I thought about a Films Division short by S.N.S. Sastry, And I Make Short Films. There's a part where the narrator says, "A creative person means a man who has got the sun in his belly. Even Picasso has it, even at the age of eighty. The sun in his belly. The sun in your belly"

At the end of the film, in the voice over, a man asks: "Look, what do you want to convey in this film?" (and quite frankly - as a viewer I asked the same question).

The narrator responds:

Often when I get stuck, or am questioning why I do what I do, I like to remind myself to have the sun in my belly, the fire in my heart.

Film Moments: Sound Of Metal and Stillness

I love moments of stillness in films - when within a film we can viscerally experience those moments where we suddenly get pulled into the time and place the character is in.

Dramatic Problems

The starting point of a script is the character's Dramatic Problem, and the ending point is whether the problem has been changed or not.
